- We're a multi-racial, unschooling family of five. We share our life with a very cool free-roaming iguana and an overly attached, black miniature poodle. I maintain two blogs (links below): Forever Parents: My husband & I adopted our three children at an older age through foster care. I created ForeverParents.com in 2002 for adoptive and waiting parents to find support and information. Besides our blog, we offer an adoption forum and store. An Unschooling Life is a peek into the lives of an unschooling family. We removed our children from school about a year after we adopted them. It is also the home to Unschooling Voices, a monthly blog carnival.
